Feed-in-Tariff:

• When a home produces more solar electricity than is being consumed, the excess (net) is exported to the grid and the home owner receives the Feed-in-Tariff.
• For some energy efficient homes a 1.5 – 2kW solar power system may be sufficient to negate their power bill altogether.
